Ross Render MSLL – Managing Director
Ross has over 15 years’ experience in the Commercial Sector. Over 10 years was as a manager of an Electrical Wholesaler based In Leeds offering Electrical, Lighting and Renewable solutions to a variety of clients with projects including Hotels, Distribution Centres and Schools.
In November 2014, Luminous Solutions was formed and has quickly become a professional Lighting Consultancy business offering a comprehensive range of solutions for its clients. Ross has been involved with over 2000 projects so brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to any commercial project. On a daily basis, Ross is responsible for the Business Development, UK Sales and general day to day running of the business.
Richard Dowell MSLL LCIBSE EngTech – Technical Director
Richard has over 8 years’ experience in the Lighting industry working for one of the UK’s largest lighting manufacturers, ASD Lighting based in Rotherham. Richard over this period has gained a wealth of knowledge, experience and qualifications in professional lighting design for commercial clients. With designs and projects completed from Street Lighting, Airports, Hospitals & Football Stadiums, Richard is qualified to undertake any scale of project for Luminous Solutions’ clients.
Richard has the responsibility of major project management which includes initial onsite meeting, survey, compliant lighting designs and technical support. In recognition of his work, Richard has been elected an Associate Member of ‘The Society of Light and Lighting.’ All the work done is completed to British Standards using the latest CIBSE Lighting Guidelines.
Richard Griffiths – Account Director
Richard has over 12 years’ experience in the Renewables & Lighting Industry working at a large Renewables company and an LED Lighting Specialist for the last 5 years. Richard has a wealth of knowledge on Lighting systems and has implemented new policies & procedures for Luminous Solutions when working with its clients.
Richard is the Account Manager who is responsible for looking after the client’s daily requirements from site surveys, project meetings, UK & European procurement, logistics and technical support. Richard has implemented a high level of customer service and detailed due diligence for procurement to help us achieve our recent Lighting Industry Association “Quality Assurance” status similar to ISO9001.
Charlotte McGuire – Account Manager
Charlotte has vast experience in Business with expertise in Customer Account Management, Business Development, IT training and Accountancy. Charlotte is responsible for helping us with the business growth strategy, working with new clients, marketing and social media.
Charlotte’s focus is on building client relationships so we deliver the highest quality service, enhancing our brand awareness to the commercial sector through Networking Events and Social Media Marketing.
Alan Render – Logistics
Alan has worked for Luminous Solutions for over 2 years and has over 40 years’ experience in the Distribution & Logistics Sector.
Alan is responsible for delivering the lighting solutions to our clients anywhere in the UK or Europe when required. With this experience, we can offer same day or next day service with prompt on-site delivery, any time or any day of the week to suit the client’s needs. No Sat Nav needed, he knows the UK roads better than Google maps.
